In her own words: “Here’s the short story: I grew up in a small rural town in Alaska then moved to the big city “Seattle” in my early 20’s. I worked various desk jobs and decided it just wasn’t for me, so I quit and applied for the Assistant/Reception job at the vet down the street. Obviously they hired me, I spent four years there then seven very educational years at ACCES before finding a spot at Urban Animal. I took the Veterinary Technician exam a few years ago to become licensed.

I have two sometimes-beautiful children, two step-children and a husband. Also occupying the house are two large dogs, two cats and a tortoise; there is never a dull moment.”
