Dr. Polly Peterson, DVM, DACVIM (Internal Medicine) is a Seattle native and graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in Cell and Molecular Biology.  She received her DVM from Washington State University before completing an internship at North Carolina State University and a residency in Internal Medicine at Texas A&M.  She was one of the founders of the Veterinary Specialty Center of Seattle and practiced there for 17 years prior to joining the team at Urban Animal.
Dr. Peterson is available for consultations on complex medical problems for Urban Animal patients, and also can perform flexible endoscopy for foreign body removal, gastrointestinal biopsies, bronchoscopy, urethroscopy, and rhinoscopy/nasal fungal treatment.  She also has an interest in non-surgical bladder stone removal using voiding urohydropropulsion for dogs with recurring bladder stones.
